Privacy Notice

Last updated: November 6, 2026

1. Who we are

This website belongs to ReaDesigns by Kindle Kicks, a small shop that makes skins and accessories for e-readers. We decide why and how your personal information is used. In this notice, "we" and "us" mean ReaDesigns by Kindle Kicks. This notice follows the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

2. What we collect

• When you order: your name, mobile number, delivery address, the items you chose, your notes, your payment method choice (GCash, Maya or bank transfer), and any coupon code you used.
• Pictures you send us: if you want your own design, you send us the picture on Messenger. We use it only to make your skin.
• On Messenger: your name and messages, and the proof of payment you send us.
• When you leave feedback: your name, rating, comment and, if you add it, your order number.
• Automatically: like any website, the hosting service and your browser handle basic technical data such as your IP address and device type. We do not add analytics or advertising trackers.

We do not collect card numbers or online banking passwords. Payments are sent by you to us through GCash, Maya or bank transfer.

3. Why we use it

• To prepare, confirm and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
• To check payment and keep records of orders and stock.
• To apply coupons. We use your mobile number to enforce limits such as one coupon use per person each week.
• To show reviews on the website, only for feedback you agreed to share.
• To answer questions, handle problems, and keep our business records.

We only use your details for these purposes. We ask for your agreement with the tick box when you check out or send feedback.

4. Who we share it with

• Couriers such as J&T, Grab or Lalamove, who get your name, mobile number and address so they can deliver your order.
• Service providers that run our shop: Google (Google Sheets, Drive and email, where we keep orders and pictures), Cloudflare (website hosting) and Meta (Messenger and Facebook, where we chat with you).
• Authorities, only when the law requires it.

We do not sell your information. Some of these providers store data outside the Philippines under their own privacy terms.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order records only as long as needed to complete your order, handle returns or complaints, and keep our business records. After that we delete or anonymise them. Approved reviews stay on the website until you ask us to remove them.

6. How we protect it

Our order records are in a private Google Sheet that only the shop team can open. Orders are sent to it through a protected form, and we check prices on our side so they cannot be changed from your browser. We limit who can see your details and we only collect what we need. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will take the required steps if something goes wrong.

7. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:

• be informed about how your data is used,
• access the information we hold about you,
• correct mistakes,
• object to certain uses or withdraw your agreement,
• ask us to delete or block your data,
• data portability, which means getting a copy in a common format,
• claim damages if your data is misused, and
• complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.

To use any of these rights, message us and we will reply as soon as we can. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.

8. Children

This website is for adults and for parents or guardians ordering for a child. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

If we change this notice, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
